Machines of Mana is the flagship series from comic book publisher Project Tempus, released in three volumes, each with multiple issues. Originally formatted as an interactive digital experience with looping animations, the series blends storytelling with motion. These are three of my cover designs selected for both digital and print editions.
Process
1. Thumbnails
Loose sketches to explore key story elements and visual mood.
2. Colour Comps
Selected thumbnail is developed through multiple colour compositions.
3. Final Render
The chosen concept is rendered to completion using a mix of digital tools.
4. Layout
Cover spread is formatted with branding, typography, and supporting copy.
5. Mockups
Final layout is placed into print and digital mockups for presentation.
